What is the Pet Patio
Potty™?
The Pet Patio Potty™ has a unique, patent pending layered design that
consists of a box frame and removable trays suitable to hold either gravel
or synthetic
K9 Grass™
(or
even real sod or wood pellets). The trays are positioned over a layer of litter
or dry absorbent material. Your pet’s urine drains through to the litter
below the trays thus reducing the development of any unpleasant odor and making
cleaning the unit a snap! See the How

No Mess with the Pet Patio Potty™
There is no mess with the Pet Patio Potty™ since doggy paws never come
in contact with litter. The handles on the trays make them easy to remove from
the box frame so that the litter layer below can be accessed. Doggy Solutions™ even
provides a convenient scoop to remove soiled litter. The smooth
polyethylene tray bottoms make cleaning
the trays easy.

Gravel Substrate
Gravel is one of the recommended substrates
for use in the trays of the Pet Patio Potty™. It is
suggested that if gravel is used in the trays that the
gravel be rinsed
every
month
or
so using a dilute bleach solution. This rinsing process can
be accomplished right in the trays. Please note that gravel is not included. |
Synthetic K9 Grass ™
Synthetic K9 Grass™ is available for all sizes and models of the
Pet Patio Potty™. K9 Grass™ is the only artificial grass designed specifically for dogs. It has a unique knitted backing that enhances drainage. An antimicrobial (Alphasan) is incorporated into the grass filaments to help deter microbial growth and odor development. Some dog owners prefer the look
of the sod and believe that it is easier to train their
adult dogs to use the potty when this material is used
in the trays. The synthetic sod is also typically recommended
when a dog tends to dig or scratch after relieving himself.
The synthetic sod pieces need to be cleaned every 1 to
2 weeks depending on frequency
of use. This cleaning can be accomplished by soaking the
sod pieces in a tub of dilute bleach solution.See

Sunbrella® Covers
A Sunbrella® canvas cover available
in three colors is included with all Low
Profile and Elevated
Canopy models. This durable fabric
is water and fade resistant and can be laundered in the washing
machine. The canvas cover is affixed to the potty using snaps
so it stays securely in place in windy conditions yet can
be easily removed for cleaning purposes. |

Shipping and Assembly
To facilitate shipment, Medium and
Large size potties are made in modular form. Easy to follow
Assembly and Set-up Instructions are included with all
units including photos where necessary. All items required
for
assembly are included with the shipment. All the
end user needs is a Phillips head screwdriver. Please note
that absorbant litter and gravel are not included.
